One more Thing

Also, just so y'all know; part of my recent failure to blog is due in large part to the fact that my laptop has decided she is done, and won't work anymore. Anytime I try to do the simplest thing like say scroll down a webpage or open a word document, it takes her about 15 minutes to process such a request and I get the spinning wheel of death over and over again. So even this basic post has taken about 15 minutes longer than it should have....grrrrrr!

I am now accepting donations for the Gidget-Needs-a-New-Surfboard-Fund (aka laptop on which to surf the interweb, get it?) and will accept cash, check or all major credit cards! Seriously, I need some help here! And clearly I am not above begging!

So behind....

So I honestly thought that when I quit my job and decided I was going to live the simple life as a dance teacher that I would therefore have an abundance of time for blogging writing and crafting. But I am sorry to report that actually the opposite has happened! I have next to no time in which I am able to sit at a computer and allow my mind to wander, thus come up with new posts.

So all that to basically say, excuse my tardiness....I have a lot I want to share, so a better post soon, I promise.

"we'll collect the moments one by one..."

Bonjour! The boy and I are back from the beach feeling rested and sunburned (at least in my pathetic case!) We had a lovely time and I especially enjoyed sitting out in the breezy beach air and taking it easy. We stayed at my Aunt's gorgeous Beach House. She has such a flair for design and decor; the house is filled with beautiful vintage finds and adorable antiques. Here's some shots of the beach house details and of us out in the sunshine!

Happy Labor Day!

So as the final days of summer draw to a close, the boy and I are off to a beach house to enjoy the surf, the sand and celebrate our anniversary. You may say we are drawing it out, and I'd have to admit you are right! He already took me to a romantic dinner at the Saddle Peak Lodge, where we ate delicious food and had a lovely time! {See Picture; this was our special Creme Brulee dessert} And I wore this special Betsy Johnson dress for the occasion!

But I am so excited to take it easy with the boy on the beach and reminisce on how this time last year we were cruising across California wine country on our honeymoon!

Have a great weekend!
