And ended up like this:
I am so tired. It was a long day with many an hour in the salt mines. But the benefit for a hard day's night, is an early-to-bed evening with the boy. Rather than stay up out in our living room, the boy and I got in our comfiest PJ's and resigned ourselves to bed (each with a laptop of course!)
I love being able to kick back in bed, be with the boy and blog. In fact, I wanted to share some of the pictures I took this past Sunday while the boy worked a screening at the Hollywood and Highland Center.
It's a hot spot for tourists and weirdos who like to dress up like characters from movies and charge people to take a picture with them. For this reason, it's a place that I don't frequent, but I must admit that I had a lovely time walking around, shopping and seeing the weirdos out on Sunday....Maybe I should don a tutu and my pointe shoes and go out with the rest ala Black Swan. No?
Anyway, the best part about that section of Hollywood Boulevard is definitely Grauman's Chinese Theater. It's an amazing venue chalk full of silver screen history. It's the place where movie stars, past and present, have put their handprints, footprints and signature in the cement outside the theater. I love walking around and seeing all the signatures of the stars from the golden age of cinema. It was so much fun to be a tourist in my own town for a change! Do you have tourist traps in your town?
