Road Trippin'

The gift the boy has given me for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary is the promise of a road trip.   And this is something I've made in preparation of this very generous gift...

I've been seeing quite a few of these DIY's for customizing vintage suitcases (like here and here and here) This is my own step by step process for my fancy vintage suitcase ~

First: Find a vintage suitcase you like.  Mine was small, and cheap.  Just like me!  Ba-dum-dum!

Next:  Gather some pretty ribbons.

Then:  Cut the ribbons to size by laying out on your case and glue them down in the arrangement you like.  I used Gem Glue. 

And Voila!  You have a cute and customized accessory for all your traveling needs!  I can't wait to take this stylish case on my road trip with the boy!!!
